:me & the crazyhorse:
I've only visited the cinema 2 or 3 times some time after i just turned 18. I used the Flinders Lane entrance to avoid being seen going in. Big mistake, if you use that entrance when you enter the cinema you come in next to the screen, so you cop a face full of light and a bunch of people looking at you. I remember sitting in an empty row and watching the film which had the old plumber visiting scenario. When the film stopped everyone moved to the centre of the aisle. I had no idea why. Then the stripper came out, did her stuff and just before the full strip she walked down the middle aisle in just a g-string, that's when i realised why everyone moved to the end of the aisle seats.
Ive visited the peep shows a few times too. You put $2 in, the white glass goes clear, you get to see 50 seconds of tits & arse. Sometimes the girl doesn't realise you're there and you get to see her reading a book until she sees you there. yes, the girls can see you too, so don't try and take pics or get more than 1 person in the booth or you'll get your arse kicked by the management. Due to the ability of her being able to see you, you can also see the people in the other booths, it's one of the funniest but most disturbing thing to discover.
I have also shouted 4 drunk female friends $2 each for a quick peep before we went clubbing.
I have friends who have and are working there, so even if I felt the urge to visit there again I'd be too paranoid one of them would be performing, which would be funny for them but a little embarrassing for me.
I'll post an interview with some ex-workers from here soon.

  1. Went there today and thinking it was like I remembered some fifteen years ago or so, found the place darker, slightly remodelled with a new internal cinema. SO two films playing in the dark. I tried the new one and found male genitalia flashing everywhere. Plenty of opportunity to get your rocks off in dark private. I left after watching the thin and talented stripper in between film breaks.
